6. REFLECT


Overall, this was a project was successful in creating a trendy, desirable, easy-to-use responsive e-commerce site for Extra Credit. Based on the user testing, the end product’s flow, look and feel are persuasive in their return business and did offer them a positive shopping experience.


Challenges + Future Iterations

There were definitely challenges in striking a balance between creating a strong brand identity with visual impact and prioritizing simplicity. Also having a wide range of users that are familiar with online shopping but not all trendy boutique shoppers made consideration for which features to include slightly more difficult. With more time and resources, it would be great to work on the future feature add-ons that came up in final testing but were not able to be addressed immediately.

Features to consider for the future include: quick view popups, reviews and ratings, live chat with a product expert to help find the best fit, and curated images from social media of customers wearing product after purchase.
